First Christmas!

Sorry it has been so long since I made a post.... life is crazy lately! I am in the midst of writing term papers and studying for final exams. Once life settles down I will add some more recent photos. BUT until then I thought I would share our picture with Santa Claus! Santa looks as though he has had a few too many rum and eggnog, but our little miss Adelle gave us some good smiles! She checked out the big man with the beard, but didn't seem scared at all........ next year we may have more troubles.

Autumn

We have a great walking path right behind our home. All the autumn colours have made it beautiful. Also, it leads you right downtown where there are lots of great coffee and dessert shops!

Adelle is doing so well. She is growing like a weed! Our little angel just had her four month doctor check up and already she weighs 15.18lbs and is 26 inches long!

Adelle is also a little chatterbox. She babbles on and on very enthusiastically. Her favourite songs are Itsy-Bitsy Spider and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She also really enjoys the playgroup we go to on Friday afternoons because she loves to watch all the other babies.

Happy Hallowe'en

It was a beautiful day here in Burlington for Hallowe'en. Since we aren't exactly ready for trick-or-treating we went for a walk down by the lake shore. Adelle was even given some candy by a lady who saw us walking by (mommy and daddy enjoyed it in her honour!). Her little "costume" says "Daddy's Little Devil" and had little matching socks. So cute!

~ Like a Fish in Water ~

Adelle enjoyed her first swimming experience very much! She kicked her legs and loved to watch the ripples in the water.
We went swimming with our friends Meg and Ian, and their baby Eden, who was born exactly 12 hours after Adelle. Meg and I shared a room in the Mother & Baby Ward at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital.
